Canadian Army Newsreel T-shirts!

After much demand, the Canadian Army Newsreel tee shirt is back!

The newly redesigned t-shirt, proudly displays the opening title sequence from the only Allied Film Unit to produced their own newsreel on a weekly schedule during WWII. The release will also celebrate the 80th Anniversary of D-Day, on which the Canadian Army Film & Photo Unit scooped the world. To honour the men and women that recorded that milestone, I will be offering t-shirts featuring the Canadian Army Newsreel :

“Produced by, of, and for the Canadian Army, the Canadian Army weekly newsreel is your newsreel. Its job is to portray faithfully the life of Canadian soldiers wherever they may be. They are shown from front line theatre to headquarters in Canada, to keep you posted on the deeds of Canada’s fighting Army.”

At this stage, I am taking requests to survey how many people are interested in purchasing a t-shirt. Details regarding the t-shirt specifications, measurements, garment type, etc., to follow soon. The image above serves as an example of the style of tee that I am looking for; something vintage looking, with a gritty ‘film-like’ texture to it. What do you think?

Please include how many, and in what sizes, so I can get an idea on how big the order will be when I go to the printer. Once that is setup, and I have an idea of how many to order, I can pass along more details of the final t-shirt; the brand, sizes available, garment details (100% cotton, or a 60/40 cotton/poly blend).
