After many years, I am still working hard behind the scenes to bring back the Canadian Army Newsreel t-shirt. I am currently working with a Canadian printer to service requests, and handle the shipping.

I am still undergoing tests to establish control of the look and quality of the design, with the aim of launching a store in the New Year.

As well, I have partnered with a local, highly regarded illustrator/artist, to help in the creation of other designs related to the Canadian Army Film & Photo Unit.

I want to thank everyone for their patience as I work diligently, to bring the history of the Film Unit to friends, and family, of the men and women of the Canadian Army Film & Photo Unit.

"Produced by, of, and for the Canadian Army, the Canadian Army weekly newsreel is your newsreel. Its job is to portray faithfully the life of Canadian soldiers wherever they may be. They are shown from front line theatre to headquarters in Canada, to keep you posted on the deeds of Canada's fighting Army."

Please watch this space for more news on where, when, and how to get your hands on a piece of Canadian WWII history.

  1. I’m an American military journalist and author from California. However, I would be proud to own and wear one of your tee-shirts. As an aside, my wife is a Canadian citizen, I look forward to hearing from you as to how I might be able to obtain one.

    • Hi Marc – I have added your contact details to the t-shirt list! More details coming soon… Thanks for your interest in the Canadian Army Film Unit!!! Dale

    • Hi Jelle, thanks for your order/interest! I am close to working with a Canadian printer to service my t-shirts requests and also handle the shipping. A lot of work still needs to be done before I can launch an online store and open the doors to requests. Please keep and eye on this space. I will add your name to the growing list of those who have asked for a shirt. Dale.
