  1. Hello, who would have been the photographer in place at the London Arena (Ontario) when Glenn Miller and his orchestra performed there on January 24th, 1942. Apparently over 10 000 RCAF personnel were invited free of charge. This was a big event and I would presume some army photographer would have been assigned to this. Looking for photographs. Thank you.

  2. Hi Dale, nice hearing from you. Yes I know I wrote this document. It just amazes me that no army officials were there to immortalize this event. Sorry to be a pain on this subject. Anyhow, my post here was a bit different as I am trying to identify which RCAF photographer would have been assigned to this event in London Ontario. Might you have some leads on this? All the best to you.

    • Hi Alain, I’ve sent you details on reaching out and contacting the folks over at OPTIC (Digital Media Management Section, Visual Communications Support/OPTIC / Canadian Armed Forces).
Crossing my fingers that they might be in a better position on where to look for imagery regarding the Glenn Miller event from 1942. Please keep me posted. Dale.
